Shoring is a crucial safety aspect of construction sites. If you work in construction, you are aware of the dangers caused by cave-ins. Your workers could get seriously injured or killed in a trench collapse. Collapse is not a problem that only occurs with large trenches. Small trenches can also put your workers at the same risk if not adequately protected. Aluminium shoring is a great way to keep the soil in your channels from falling in. Putting an aluminium trench box in place prevents a cave-in and protects your workers. Apart from the risk of physical injury, a trench collapse is a very traumatising experience. It will affect both the workers trapped and those on the outside. Your workers need to feel that they are in a safe work environment. A traumatising event like that can make them feel unsafe, whether inside or outside the trench. It can reduce productivity on your job site. 

Saves Time and Money 

Having aluminium tench boxes in place will save you time and money. The longer your construction project takes, the more it is going to cost. You will need to pay workers for the extra time spent, hire machinery for more extended periods and so on. All this costs you more money. Any collapse even when no workers are involved will mean that the trench will be redug, and that takes time. If workers are injured, they could sue you and cost you even more money.  

Aluminium Is Light 

Aluminium shoring is suitable for your construction site because it is light. Some people think the denser the material the shoring is made from, the more protection it will provide. That is not true. Although aluminium is light, it provides the same protection as its heavier counterparts. It is easier to transport and install. Since aluminium is light, you can install aluminium trench boxes by hand. This reduces the cost of hiring heavy machinery to install the trench boxes.
